The year 3E433 is coming to an end. Normally, people around the Empire celebrate all kinds of holidays these days, and preparations can be seen all around towns. However, this year's end is going to be one of the grimmest and cruelest of all history...
Endoril the Bosmer wakes up with a slight hungover. After Talasma fixes him a refreshing breakfast in the Oak & Crosier, he goes around town to sort out some stuff and prepare for his departure to the Jeralls. He fetches some water from a town well (fortunately not yet frozen over) and visits the burial places of the fallen townsfolk, who were killed by the Daedric forces that besieged Chorrol several weeks ago. He buried the majority of them himself.
The weather is harsh, wild and cold. Yesterday's violent thunder has gone away, but it is freezing to the bone. A disturbing veil of dense fog descended upon the world, covering everything in many shades of grey. Not a day for traveling...
