This is an update or replacement to my other PersonalityIdles mod.



This still includes the same idles for the player as in my original mod Default idles for player (wait motionless in 3rd person view for up to 15 seconds)

-default idle males -fists clenched
-default idle female -seductive idle
-raining player will stand with arms crossed warming up
-snowing player will stand with arms crossed hunched over to keep warm.
-thunder storm will stand with arms crossed hunched over to keep warm. (compatible with weather mods)
-hurt player will play wounded idle if strength is below 50

1. Whats new? NPC Idles*****************************************************************************************************

edited default animations, new animations added.
Added conditions in weather animations so that weather idles do not play inside some custom houses. (in some custom houses if it was raining outside the raining idle would play while in the house probably due to the interior/exterior settings in some custom house mods. I noticed you could for instance fast travel from these
mods interior cells). This mod is now compatible with these mods.

new npc idles for mages, gaurds, commoners, farmers, merchants, monks, preists, beggers, assasins.
new npc idles while in dialogue with all of the above.
Npc's will salute you with the proper salute if you are in the same guild. This includes mages,fighters, Imperial gaurd,
Dark Brotherhood, Blades.

Fame and infamy now play a role.

if your infamy is at 50 or above: 50% chance
-gaurds will greet you with clenched fists
-commoners, farmers, pilgrims, paupers will jump back with arms raised to stay away from you.

If your infamy is at 70 or above 70% chance
-gaurds will again greet you with clenched fists
-commoners, farmers, pilgrims, paupers will cower before your character in fear.

if your fame is above 50
-gaurds will salute you (you can have them salute as well by joining the imperial faction)
-commoners, farmers, pilgrims, paupers will wave to you (males) the females will have hands on hips swaying seductively in admiration of your deeds.



2. Whats new? player idles***************************************************************************************************

ability to change default standing idles by carrying different medallions
females and males change position in chairs females change to one of 2 new sitting animations (random) males one

Ability to click on animation trigger in inventory to initiate animations
-4 different lying down poses (position character ontop of bed or bedroll or ground then just position player as you like)
-purchase blanket player will lay down with blanket ontop of them.
-2 different sitting on ground poses
-2 different chair sitting idle poses
-dancing animation
-eat (equip food item)
-read (equip book)
-mix potions (equip potion)


I thought I would add these as an addition as an added feature despite all the automaticly triggered animations.as I find this method personally more immersive than going to a menu. This metheod has the advantage of getting out of the animation without going to a menu again and the ability to walk around and change inventory items while the actions are being performed. I didn't add any others as this has been covered in mods such as actors in charge and actors in maddness (which you can still use while using this mod (see below)
if you don't want to use this feature simply don't pick up or use the items.

3. What's new Miscelaneous***************************************************************************************************

-npc animations while in dialogue now some npcs have an additional animations while you are talking to them (in dialogue)
-farmers will use their hoes now when not in a city or indoors.
-added a collar (sickleyields) equip it or give it to someone using companion share and the character will kneel when they equip it(if you like you can place a drain strength or burden spell on it) if you want to imprison a bandit or gaurd,prisoners through a mod just make them part of the players faction. Or use for whatever you like. (this will only work for player character or npc that are are a part of the "players" faction (same goes for medallions) sorry tried to set it for all npcs, but didn't want to risk costing processor or fps drag. As the mod stands I don't notice any lag or fps drain of any kind and I am not using a fast system.


4. Installation*************************************************************************************************************

Drag and drop the data folder in the personality3.rar file into your c:\Oblivion\ folder

only use one esp at a time choose one of these to go into your c:\Oblivion\Data folder

personality_idles3b.esp (full version)
personality_idles3b_nc.esp (full version but ability to change idles in game removed)
personality_idlespc3b.esp (only player character idles)


5. Playing the mod**********************************************************************************************************

When you first start your character will be standing with the original standing idle just wait up to 15 or so seconds
motionless in 3rd person view for any of the idles to start (This is just the way the game handles idles) (you can use the vanity camera while waiting if you wish). Once the new idle has started the idle will stay. The only way to stop it is to draw a weapon, or sit down. (Once you have drawn your weapon or sat down you'll have to wait up to 15 seconds again if you want the new idle to start again). typically when you start playing for a while you will probably find in most cases that you either do not have to wait at all or idles sometimes will kick in within a few seconds. Depending on what your character is doing.

Note,In order to get a new idle due to new conditions as an example if you are walking and the "fists clenched" or "seductive idle" is already playing on your character and it starts to rain, simplydraw your weapon if you want to come out of that idle, then sheath your weapon (or put it away) and stand motionless for up to 15 seconds, Then your character will have the new idle set for rain and so on.

I have provided certain safegaurds in the mod so the idles do not play while swimming, sleeping, riding a horse, sneaking or you have a weapon drawn (including HTH) The animations will play for companions provided they are in the "players Faction"

NPC idles play automatically due to different conditions, such as the npc's class, faction or the players faction, or fame, and infamy level, or if you are of the same faction. (if certain NPC idles are not playing the character may be busy doing something else to initiate npc idle right away just talk to them).


To use the medallions choose the medallion idle that you want for your new idle and keep it in your inventory, thats it. you can only have one medallion in your inventory at one time (you can however take all the medallions then put them in a drawer or container in your home, then change which medallion or default idle you wish as often as you like.

-change default animation version (pic up medallions at jewelry store in market district on left counter in jewelry box)
(these will appear in the misc items in your inventory)

-hands on hips
-both fists clenched
-one fist clenched
-hands clasped still (good for modest, monk)
-hands clasped head down (good for assasisns, mysterious types ect)
-checking ground (good for hunters or ranger types)
-mage idle
-hand on weapon

To use the actions below equip and use them (only one at a time of course) (these will appear in your clothing section at top in inventory) (they are equipable items however if you drop them they will appear as potions,bread, potion bottles ect) (these all use the amulet slot)(pick these up at 3 brothers trade goods small box on table)

-dance (player will dance)
-eat
-reading
-mix potion
-sleep/rest (pick up one of 4 lying down poses)
-sit on ground (pick up one of two new sitting on ground poses)
or sitting around the campfire
-purchase all blankets at 3 brothers trade goods and your player will lay down with a blanket covering them (equip blanket in inventory wait motionless 3rd person)

(I've included 5 of each in the event people want to use these for companions)



6. Bugs and issues*****************************************************************************************************************************************

I have spent weeks gathering and editing animations as well as making sure the animation structure and heirchy does not conflict with each other so change things at your own risk. Changing one thing can collapse or disengage an entire set or group of animations or features. Although you are pretty safe if you just want to change animations, just don't change the heirchy or conditions or you'll probably have to reinstall this mod.


7. ***********IMPORTANT*************
Disengage your default idle before swimming or riding a mount by sheathing and unsheathing your weapon or hth. If you don't you will get unfavorable results. (top of body staying in default idle while bottom half treads water ect).

yes I know you can run with the blanket and it looks weird I left the ability to move around so the player can adjust themselves over a bed or bedroll, I would suggest just tapping the movement keys and changing facing to position yourself.




8. Compatibility***************************************************************************************************************
I am no longer supporting actors in charge or actors in madness mods by back dating my esp date, reason for this is their are some mods out there that change the idle animations so it's its best to have this esp date more recent for overall compatibility.
I haven't run into any problems yet. But if you want to run actors in charge or actors in madnesss or any mod that forces animations you'll have to set their esp file date later than this one.


If you are using something like actors in charge or actors in madness the personalityidles3.esp file must have a older date than the actors in charge esp or actors in madness.esp

As well I have noticed that the streamline mod seems to interfere for some reason. make sure the livelyOblivion.esp has a newer file date than the streamline.esp and you should be fine.

easiest thing to do is save the Actors in charge.esp to a later date, then actors in maddness to an even later date in the editor and you should be fine. (you can do this simply by changing your computer date temporarily
opening them in the editor and saving.

And lastely any mod that changes the default idles may not be compatible with this mod...obviously. mods such as deadly reflex should be okay as they change animations in the combat groups but I can't gaurantee it of course.
