What's New?
===========
A German translation is now available on the mirror tab, courtesy of Codas!

There is also a French translation available thanks to Xvoh. It has been available for some time now, but I kept forgetting to mention it. Thanks, Xvoh!

Several additional choices were added by request. There is no difference in functionality; the new choices are simply for roleplaying purposes.

The plugin was restructured for a small optimization in speed.

Description
===========
Annoyed with being labeled a murderer when you simply killed someone before they killed you? Don't want the Dark Brotherhood to pay you a visit just because the game mistakenly decided you murdered someone?

This is the mod for you. If the game decides that you're a murderer, you will be presented with seven choices the next time you go to the sleep/Wait menu:
"As you prepare to rest, your mind reflects back on those you have killed:"
1) "If it means climbing higher, I will use their bodies as steps."
2) "Murdering them means nothing to me."
3) "They were going to kill me! Self defense is not murder!"
4) "I did what now, to who now?"
5) "As a casualty of war, they wouldn't hold me accountable."
6) "May the Nine forgive me for my wrongdoings..."
7) "Even if he wasn't defending himself, it was still a legally-sanctioned duel to the death."

The first two choices will essentially do nothing; the Dark Brotherhood will likely be paying you a visit shortly and this mod will stop. Every other choice will clear you of all murders and prevent the Dark Brotherhood quests from starting. Choice 7 will only appear a single time if Agronak was killed in the Arena.

While this mod is made explicitly to stop the Dark Brotherhood quests from mistakenly being started, it is more generically a 'fix' for buggy game mechanics (such as being labeled a murderer for killing a hostile npc due to bugged factions in a mod).

OBSE v0013 or higher is required.

Details
=======
When the game decides that you have murdered someone, two things happen:
1) IsPCAMurderer is set to 1
2) The Murder statistic is incremented.

The Dark Brotherhood quest is started when IsPCAMurderer returns 1. Several other variables are then changed, and the quest is started.

This mod lets you set IsPCAMurderer back to 0, set the Murder statistic to 0, and reset the associated variable changes back to their initial condition. This means that if you choose to clear a mistaken murder, and then go out and kill someone in cold blood, you will be able to start the Dark Brotherhood quests as normal.

Until OBSE v0013, there was no function to reset IsPCAMurderer back to 0.
