About this mod

This mod is a quest, a dungeon, a player-owned (once you get to it) house and a mystery all in one. It is a greatly improved version that has been changed quite a bit, so I have made a new file for it.

Permissions and credits
Description:
A rocky island dotted with the crumbling remains of the Ayleid empire sits off the Gold Coast south of the port city of Anvil. Resting upon it's crown is a curious house built in the style of Chorrol's elegant manors. No one has emerged from it's sealed doors for as long as anyone can remember. Local youths dare each other to swim to the island and back at midnight, thrilled by it's mystery, claiming that it is haunted. Most of their elders shrug it off as yet another harmless mystery... but one day a young Nordic woman, new to town, makes a terrible discovery during one of her early morning strolls down the shore...

Everhaus is a quest, a dungeon, and a player owned (once you manage to get inside) house mod.It is filled with lovingly placed details, snippets of humor (some more subtle than others, heh) and a number of small mysteries that will only be answered when you reach the end of the quest.

This version has undergone some changed (complete changes to the exterior cells) and has thus been put up in a new file. If you were using Everhaus2.esp and would like the new version, please remove all personal items from the house, basement, and dungeon before loading this mod. You will need to go through the drungeon again.

Version history:

Version 2.1
Removed "quest" that stopped Elsa The Meek from using the stock Nord voice because it was causing errors in other dialogues for some reason. Grr. She'll just have to have two different voices I guess. :

Version 2.0

Island is now in keeping witht the Gold Coast environment.
Island now has a more interesting shape, rocky cliffs, bits of Ayleid ruin, especially a bit that resembles a room in the basement that has holes open to the sky, bushes and trees.
Added a quest line which guides the player along, as some players were confused and unsure of how to go about getting the house.
Added a new NPC- Elsa The Meek- to Anvil.
Added voice acting and lip synching to Elsa The Meek.
Enchanced details in both the dungeon and the basement.
Added a button that opens the gate to the ruins from the basement entrance side after it has been reset, which happens after 3 days or so.
Fixed the placement of a couple of columns in the dungeon that were not quite high enough.
Brightened lighting slightly in the dungeon and basement to reflect the feasibility of their purpose.
Tore out my hair trying to get scripts to work.
Cleaned up mod, removing changes to other things that should not have been there.

Version 1.2

Fixed a bug where some players were falling through the world upon entering the basement.
Added some details to the basement.

Version 1.0
Created the interior cells, created a rudimentary island and the keyholder.

Known conflicts:
Akiviri Kojima, but just barely. I got very strange cell corruptions when I tried to make them combatible by deleting the cells that were affecting the akiviri kojima mod and then putting in a cliff face to hide the seam. This is, apparently, a Very Bad Idea. I will come back to making this compatible at some point, soon as I figure out how. In the meantime I'm afraid they mess with each other's landscape, even though the islands do not come close to touching. :/ If a mod has placed something in the area where the island is, which you can see on the map in the screenshots section, it's probably going to conflict.

Getting started:
All you need to do to get started on the quest now is to enter Anvil. The quest will guide you from there.

Easter Eggs:
There are a few entertaining little things I put in this mod. Some of them are more obvious than others. Beware the dread beast hidden withing the dungeon! What's with Gadrel the sheep?
You'll know 'em when you find 'em.

Comments:
This is my first mod ever, though I took a looong break between release versions. I thinkt hat this version is far superior to the first, and I hope that you will enjoy it!
Please, if you find any bugs or inconsistencies, please do let me know!
