REQUIREMENTS
=============
Oblivion 1.2.416 or Oblivion Shivering Isles1.2.416 official patch.
The items may not appear ingame if you don't have the patch installed.

7-zip (File archiver with a high compression ratio. You'll need it for the most of the mods)

RECOMENDED
============
Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM)
This is a utility for managing plugins, and also for packing them for distribution.

DESCRIPTION
===========
Dread Knight Armor v.1_1
Primary file. No other files needed.
Adds male and female sets (including open and full helm), enchanted and unenchanted, daedric equivalent (shield not included). Custom meshes and textures.
Dread Knight Armor v.1.0 is not needed. If you have it installed directly overwrite it with v1.1.
You will not get two sets of armor but just a full set depending of your character's gender (it would be ridiculous a male character to be able to wear the female version and the opposite). And it is heavy armor set with no naked skin. I'll upload a patch allowing to see the beauty of Robert's male and Raiar's and Madcat221's HGEC female forms and skin.

Dread Knight Armor - Weapons Addon v1_1
Dread Knight Armor v1_1 required installed.
Adds axes, maces and swords to the inventory of the bandits in Moranda (enchanted version). Also you can buy replicas of the weapons at "A Fighting Chance" in IC Market District.
The new items are the swords. The enchanted version in Moranda have particles and flames. The replicas at "A Fighting Chance" are two types - with and without flames. You choose - white, yellow, original flame, red, purple, blue, green.
No scripts were used this time so the swords will burn when sheathed. For the Frostmourne's Swap script I received too much complains - lower framerates, glitches and so on.
You can change the particles and flames color.
Go to Data/Textures/weapons/DreadKnightWeapons. Choose the folder with the color you wish (white, yellow, orange and so on)and copy the files inside the folder: fireflameparticlebleu and firesparkparticle01bleu. Go to the upper folder (which was pointed above) and paste'em. Let'em overwrite the two files with the same name. The particles color will be changed. Do the same with the flames textures.
IF YOU DON'T WANT PARTICLES AT ALL use the files placed in the InvisibleParticles folder. There will be particles but you wouldn't see them. It's the most economical way instead to put four weapon nifs without the particles.

The armor is based on Robert's Male Body and RAIAR and Madcat221's HGEC female body mod. No matter what body mod you are using it will be Ok as long as the full armor set is equiped.

It is Weapons and Armor mod.
Don't expect plot and quests 'cause my scripting skills are None (with capital "N"). There is only a simple quest of obtaining the set.

Why Dread Knight?
Because it had to sound "dreadly" as it looks and it is close to Death Knight concept but I wanted to avoid any criticism like "WOW have no place here". This is Oblivion mod despite any resemblances with other games.

WARNING! The high polycount of the models could cause lag at low-end computers. WARNING!
(If the Lich King's Armor works for you this one shouldn't be a problem)

A fast way to remove the reflections from the metal parts (Nifskope required):
Open a file in Nifskope (greaves for example).
- The loincloth have not that reflection. Forget about the loincloth.
- Mark the thighs plates with the mouse. In the left window (the Block List) You'll see the NiTriStrips colored in blue. Expand this NiTriStrips tree and click on NiTexuringProperty. Now look at the lower window (the Block Details). Find the row where with capital letters is typed APPLY_HIGHLIGHT. Double click on it and from the cascade menu choose APPLY_MODULATE. Click on the next row and it is chosen.
- Do the same with the round caps near the knees.
- SAVE the file as itself. Do the same with all the files of the armor which have reflections. The glass reflection will disappear and the colors will be a little darker ingame.
That's it. You need only Nifskope (you can find easy the latest version - Google it) and about 5-10 minutes.

Please, if you don't like the armor for any reason, if it lags on your computer or whatever - pass on and don't trash the mod. It is exactly what it was meant to be 'cause it was made according to my fantasy and taste.

LOCATION
========
The enchanted version you can find in Moranda ruins (see the map images - northwest from the IC). Go to the lowest level and kill the marauders to obtain the armor. It is recommended your character to be around 25-th level to succeed (well if you're playing at easy difficulty maybe less).
The enchantments are very subjectivå stuff so if you don't like'em go to Rohssan's "A Fighting Chance" in Imperial City Market District and buy replica of the armor to enchant it yourself. It's a separate vendor chest so no collisions with other mods are expected. It is also "respawnable" chest which means after three days game time you can buy another set of the armor.

INSTALL
=======
1. Extract the archive anywhere on your hard disk. Take the folders meshes, textures and the Dread Knight Armor.esp file and place them into your Oblivion\Data folder. Click "Yes to all" when asked.
2. In Oblivion Launcher open "Data Files" and place a checkmark beside the Dread Knight Armor.esp.
I recomend you to use the OMOD version of the mod. You'll need Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) - the link is up in the Recomended section.

UNINSTALL
=========
1. Start Oblivion Launcher, open Data Files and uncheck Dread Knight Armor.
2. Delete the files/folders associated with the mod:

Oblivion\Data\Dread Knight Armor.esp
Oblivion\Data\meshes\armor\DreadKnightArmor folder
Oblivion\Data\Textures\armor\DreadKnightArmor folder
Oblivion\Data\Textures\menus\icons\armor\DreadKnightArmor folder.

Incompatibility
===========
None I know.

Known Issues or Bugs
==================
The Helm is not conformulated because there are two meshes in the nif file and the Conformulator works only with single meshes (the second is the "shadow" mesh before the eyes). Possible cuts with argonian's, khajiit's and orcs' heads. Works fine with humanoids.
