This omod script is a simple tweaking program to simply tweak your Oblivion.ini to the max. It will ask some questions about you system and at the end you can select some opinial settings.

This omod script is a simple tweaking program to simply tweak your Oblivion.ini to the max.
It will ask some questions about you system and at the end you can select some opinial settings.

This newest version has 17 options to tweak and enhance graphic performance! You have choices for memory in steps of 0,5 Gb for fine-tuning.



Options that are available in version 1.2
- Proccesor usage optimization
- System RAM optimization
- Enable Shader Model 3.0 (incl. a manual to force)
- Use Harddrive cache (can cause stuttering)
- Let the game load files in background (may reduce stuttering)

- Disable intro movies
- Disable main menu movie background
- Enable built-in screenshot fuction (images stored in Oblivion game folder)
- Higher resolution shadows
- Double the maximum number of shadows
- Enable torches to cast shadows
- More accurate lighting on grass
- More (realistic) water reflexions
- Smoother water surface
- Slightly better detailed trees
- Lesser zoom when in conversation


When you're ready and it wants to apply, simply hold down Enter/Return to give your clicking finger some rest ;)

These options are the one I use and can be very usefull, with this you don't have to manual edit the Oblivion file. For any handy tweaks that aren't in the list you can mail me and I will add some more.

Don't edit and upload it with your name without my permission.



Install
Load the omod with OBMM, dubble click on it and follow the steps.
To uninstall, also dubble click and click yes, your settings will be restored.

Version 1.2:
- Changed the name from Tweaks & Improvements to Tweaks & Enhancements.
- Added descriptions to almost all options.
- When selecting Enable Shader Model 3.0 you can get a manual to force the use of Shader Model 3.0 (OBMM is not able to make that change)
- Changed the values for the processor selection.

- Fixed the 'washed-out particle hair effects' for single-core users that appeared in version 1.0.
- Changed some values for processor usage optimization.
- Added 4 options and added more choise at system RAM optimization.
