A simple update to fix a few things about the targetting crosshair. A simple update to fix a few things about the targetting crosshair. This is a modified form of the Third Person Crosshair mod, so credit should go to Cerasine because that was probably the hardest part. I made this so I could play in third person mode without any bugs or annoyances. Realizing that my preference may not be everyone's, I've included 4 different options (see screenshots).
This is the list of what the mod affects:
- Targeting reticle shows in 3rd person now (credit Cerasine). - Removed talk and crown icons. This is because of a bug that showed up in Cerasine's mod, where the crown and talk icons stay in the middle of the screen when talking to any NPC. Now, when facing an NPC, your targetting reticle disappears, indicating you can talk to them. I found these icons to be unnecessary anyway, since you know you can talk to pretty much every NPC (plus, i don't like the crown icon indicating "important NPC" anyway). - Moved crosshair slightly to be more accurate (it was off by a little bit). OPTIONAL: - Smaller targeting reticle/sneakeye (credit Cerasine). - Sneak eye moved to the bottom of the screen near the compass. This gets it out of the way when needing good bow accuracy.
