Description

My Voice Extender is a mod for Oblivion, giving the player character (and companions) a personality by giving him/her the ability to speak. It comes pre-installed with 6 voices (3 male and 3 female) to choose from and space for an additional 18 custom voices. Every voice contains over 200 different messages, which are said depending on various circumstances. The included Voice Alteration spell allows you to choose which voice to use for which character.

With this mod enabled, a spell is automatically added to the player character's spell book, in the form of a lesser power. This spell works either as a touch or a target self spell, depending on if the player character is looking at anyone. Cast it to change the voice of an npc (usually a companion) in the partners or player faction, or the player character. The character will say something to show which voice is selected. Continue casting this spell until the desired voice is selected.

All language versions of Oblivion and all custom races are supported by default. The addon will also automatically recognize other addons, like Martigen's Monster Mod, Elsweyr, the Deserts of Anequina and the Shivering Isles expansion. To hear the player character talk about his/her armor status, install Unequip Broken Armor (version 2.8 or higher for companions). Without it these messages are automatically disabled.

No files will be replaced by installing this addon. It will however need OBSE (version 20 or higher) to function properly.

Also check out my other mods and leave feedback and/or endorsement if you like to support this addon. Thanks and enjoy!
