DESCRIPTION:
This mod is both a player home and a full questline that continues the Thieves Guild story. After becoming the Gray Fox and assuming responsibility for the Thieves Guild, there is still more to be done. Complete contracts for clients and help your guild combat a new threat in Cyrodiil, while residing in a fully equipped hideout/player home. Steal valuable items, manage the Thieves Guild's operations, recruit new members to see an increase in profit, and solve the mystery that threatens the Thieves Guild and the rest of Cyrodiil.

The quests in this mod are intended to encourage the player to player like a thief. There is combat but there's not a heavy emphasis on it. Instead, it's mostly about stealth, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. I made minimal use of map markers, so you'll often have to look around to find the items you've been contracted to steal.

A few years ago, I made the original Thieves Guild HQ player home mod because I thought the hideout in the waterfront district was a crappy reward for completing the thieves guild quests. Later, I went back to it and completely revamped the headquarters. I added a tons of quests with a full story, which is probably longer than the original thieves guild story.

-2 side quests
-11 new weapons
-13 new armor items, including offhand weapons
-17 new clothing items
-many improved versions of existing items
-3 new spells
-7 new ingredients
-5 new potions
-Disguises that will hide your bounty from the guards

THE HEADQUARTERS:
-Bedroom/office
-Training room
-Armory area
-Alchemy area

-Enchanting and spellmaking altars
-Secret ways to sneak into Bravil and the Imperial City (in case you have a bounty)
-5 NPC merchants
-A regular income of cash from the guild (since you're the Gray Fox)
-and a few hidden things you'll have to find for youself

REQUIRES:
Shivering Isles

INSTALLATION:
unpack into the data folder. The file structure is set up correctly, so all the files should go to the right directories. Activate this mod from "data files" in the oblivion launcher.

CONFLICTS:
I went to great lengths to minimize the chance of any conflicts with other mods. Very few exterior cells have been modified.

I made one very minor alteration to the script for the Gray Fox Cowl, just to avoid any bugs. This should not conflict with any other mods unless they edit that same script as well.

If you are using some complicated vampire mods, than you may want to avoid the "Amulet of Vampirism"
(It seems to work fine, but who knows).

DISGUISES:
After a certain point in the story, you will gain access to disguises which can be used to make your bounty disappear. They are wigs (the Soya and Fall Hair hairstyles) and hoods. When you put them on, the guards will not recognize you and you will have a different set of bounty. Take it off and your bounty will return to normal. If you commit a crime with the diguise on and get caught, your "disguise bounty" will be affected and you will have to pay it off normally. Make sure nobody is watching you or pursuing you when you equip or unequip the disguise. If you're caught, your cover will be blown and both bounties will be combined.

WARNING:
If you were using the previous version of my Thieves Guild HQ mod I made a long time ago, this file will overwrite that one. To avoid any potential problems, make sure you take all of your items out of "the vault" and save, before upgrading. That room has been completely redesigned since the original.
