DETAILED TERRAIN COMPATIBLE! Replacement texture and normal map for the larger rocks that make up the middle part of the road

Permissions and credits
UPDATE: I've released the sequel to this texture, which fixes issues with obvious tiling and incorporates a new but similar design. Check it out!

=======

I really don't like QTP3's texture of the larger rocks that make up the center of the road (example), and while it's a great effort, pk's custom terrain textures for QTP3 just contains the low-res vanilla road texture slightly modified. I wanted to keep QTP3's other road texture--the smaller rocks that line the sides of the road--and I wanted to increase the vanilla middle road texture's size from 512x512 to 1024x1024, the same size as QTP3's road textures.

But I'm not a texture artist, so my solution involved simply multiplying (not resizing, which is pointless) the 512x512 vanilla road texture to fill up a 1024x1024 space. So while it still uses the same art, the rocks in the center of the road end up appearing smaller in my road texture, similar to the sizes of the rocks lining the sides of the road. One of the things that bothered me about the QTP3 road texture aside from the color was that the rocks looked very round and unwalkable. So while I added a bit more definition to the rocks in my texture by modifying the normal map, they still appear flat like a road should. Finally because Detailed Terrain is so great and essential, the texture has an alpha channel so that it blends in with the surrounding textures (how well it does so is for you to decide).

Ideally someone with the artistic skills would make an alternative road texture without relying on a pre-existing one. I'm sorry but at the moment that someone is not me! But I personally like the results I got tweaking this texture in GIMP over the course of a couple hours, and I'm posting it with the hope someone else might enjoy it. Consider it still a work in progress, so if you kind of like it but have issues with something I might be able to fix, leave a comment about it (I'm still trying to make the tiling less obvious, for example -- there's a bit of a color mismatch I need to fix but otherwise it seems to tile well for how much it has to repeat). If you think it sucks, you can share that too, then hopefully make a better one I can use instead. Good luck!

NOTE: If you don't have Detailed Terrain installed, this texture will still work fine but won't look as good. If you're using QTP3 there's really no reason not to have Detailed Terrain installed. It's awesome, go get it!
