1. INFORMATION ON THE MOD
************************************************************************
A science-fiction first person shooter using the Oblivion game engine. You dress in
camouflage, and use futuristic guns and grenades. There is no magic in this game. You use first
aid kits instead of healing potions. You and your comrades fight an enemy boarding party to try
to regain control of your starship.

Of course it is not lore friendly. How could it be? But after you play the mod, it
will give you back all your medieval fantasy gear and send you back to the Imperial City.

To start the mod, simply install and activate it. Within five seconds of starting
the game, you will be whisked away to the other game within the game.

This mod is hard enough that you may want to play it with a level 15 or higher
character.

2. Installation
************************************************************************
Extract (decompress) the "Data" folder to your Oblivion directory, the
default is: C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\
Say "yes" if it asks if you want to merge folders. In your mod manager, mark the box next to
"First Person Shooter.esp."

Do not activate this mod until your character has completed character generation and
left the sewers.

This mod requires Shivering Isles. Failure to install and activate it will prevent
Oblivion from running when this mod is active.

This mod conflicts with vanilla Oblivion character generation in the prison. If you use
it wrong, you could end up as a level one character with no class, who can never level up, and who
cannot play the main quest. Do not activate this mod until character generation is complete and you
have left the sewers.

Oblivion is not really designed to be a first person shooter like this. So it will not
behave like some of the real ones you have played. If you don't like it, maybe you should go play
a real first person shooter instead.

Although this mod draws on resources from three other mods and some of my original work,
it is mostly made from vanilla resources. There are a lot of things I just don't have, and if I
did have everything, then this would become a really huge file. I am not a modeler. Just a dungeon
maker, quest coder, and minor retexturer. So if you send me feedback saying, "You need to make this
model or that model for your mod!" I will give you short shrift and completely ignore you. Now on
the other hand, if you want to create the model for me or can point me to a suitable public domain
model, then I will seriously think about putting it into the mod.

For best results, don't bring your teleporting companions when you play this mod, and don't
use any powerful quest items that you brought with you. (The mod removes all your ordinary possessions
until you reach the end of it, and then gives them back. this is so everyone will be using guns rather
than claymores and battle axes.)

The file contains some dead code on purpose. This is models and textures, and the objects in
the .esp which refer to them which are not actually used in this version of the mod. There were mesh
and texture and havok problems with some of them, and others were just not needed for this story. These
things are here for modders resources and for possible expansion of this mod if bugfixes for the meshes
are found. The buggy material was hidden so gamers can't come in contact with it.

I made this mod on a whim. I will see how the public receives it. If lots of people like
it, I might expand it. But if it is a flop, I will devote my attentions to other projects. I am
interested to hear feedback on this mod.

IF ANYONE DETECTS A MAJOR BUG WHICH MAKES THE MOD UNPLAYABLE, PLEASE SEND
DAVID BRASHER A PERSONAL MESSAGE ON TES NEXUS RIGHT AWAY. HOPEFULLY HE WILL BE ABLE
TO FIX IT AND RELEASE AN IMPROVED VERSION OF THIS MOD.
