Themed Loading Screens – DevKit is a modders' resource for creating themed loading screens for the “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion” game. This resource contains a template to create DarkUI themed loading screens and a GIMP plugin which carries out the creation of the loading screens.

The plugin is capable of creating new vanilla and DarkUI themed loading screens and is also capable of converting existing vanilla themed loading screens to the DarkUI theme (but not vice versa). To create vanilla themed loading screens or to convert them to the DarkUI theme, the template for the vanilla theme from the Loading Screens DevKit resource, which is not included in this resource, is required.

If you have Photoshop, I would recommend creating vanilla themed loading screens via Photoshop with the Trollf's ActionScript from the Loading Screens DevKit resource, as the quality of the resulting loading screens is better than what can be achieved by the plugin from this resource.

The plugin only creates new images, and so adding them to the game via the Construction Set (CS) must be performed there. Visit this page for information on how to add new loading screens in the CS.

Please be sure to read at least the Requirements, Installation, Uninstallation and Example Uses sections from the Readme which contain the minimum amount of the necessary information for you to be able to create the loading screen images.
