Are you tired of playing a light-armored stealth character lugging around a huge shield? Do the light shields even look that light to you? Are you just dissapointed by the lack of Bucklers in Oblivion? Then this mod is for you! Endorse and leave a comment! Dont be a dick, be a dude!

NOTE: I wont be continuing with this. If anyone wants to make non-replacement Bucklers using my meshes then go right ahead, just be sure to credit me.
Are you tired of playing a light-armored stealth character lugging around a huge shield? Do the light shields even look that light to you? Are you just disapointed by the lack of Bucklers in Oblivion? Then this mod is for you!
DEATHSHOCK's Buckler Mod replaces every light shield in the game with smaller, less imposing Bucklers so your stealth character actually looks like a stealth character without that big "light" shield. I just scaled the shield NIF's. Alittle bit of scaling down and rotating and there you have it! This is also my first mod so go easy if something doesnt go according to plan.
Requirements:
I used GOTY so I think you will need Shivering Isles, the latest patch and I THINK KotN but I'm not so sure about the later. Try it out for me people and give some feedback.
Bugs:
-I havent actually seen this but im GUESSING that the replicas you see in shops and such will glitch out when inside their display cases. This is because I dont know how to edit collision on the models yet. Furthermore when you drop a Buckler the model will go slightly into the ground, hanging by its collision, and this will make it VERY DIFFICULT when placing these in your house and other places. Other then that it should be fine.
Installation:
Why am I even adding this? Well we we're all noobs once so if you dont know how to install...
-1. Download the file.
-2. Extract the Data folder into your Oblivion directory.
-3. Go into OBMM or whatever mod manager you use and tick DEATHSHOCK's Buckler mod.
-4. ????
-5. PROFIT!
Updating from version to version:
Once again, why is this even here?
-1: Follow the guidelines above this. Save over everything it tells you too. Easiness at its finest.
Incapibility:
-Any mod that changes light shields' in the Construction Kit.
History:
-21st January 2012: Released.
-29 January 2012: Changes the Amber Shields. Resizes some of the old bucklers. Added Screenshots.
Notes:
-If enough people ask I'll make a new file that add bucklers as a new item all together, complete with enchanted counterparts, and if I get permission from a certain somebody a unique Buckler with an unique look.
