High Detail retexture of the Dynamic Map 'Heightmap' compatible with Under the Sign of the Dragon - Tamreil Heightmaps (aka TWMP)
but only requires Dynamic Map which you install first, (any type), then overwrite with this; and Dynamic Map itself requires MenuQue


Im working on an update with darker map texture, Roads of Cyrodiil overlay aswell as for Elsweyr Deserts of Anequina, high detail location names, a new high detail Shivering Isles map, and optional Morroblivion maps. Keep putting off the finishing touches, so not sure when itll be done


About this map
* Compared to the other Heightmap maps these are double the size but with cropped borders, reducing it to 5928x4086 to save on memory
* Retextured using the Cyrodiil Terrain Map as a base (credit to wisselj for a great map)
* replaced Vvardenfell/Solsthiem/Sheogorad with original Morrowind color map
* needed an overlay fix for the Morroblivion in Tamriel plugin
* has seperate name overlays for Bartholm, NewHaven, Chapel shop and Castle Dunkerlore
* optional Elsweyr design from TWCWM Anequina map (credit to worm82075 etc)
* optional Valenwood design from another Dynamic map (credit to a.ellis etc)
* and made separate maps for the Elsweyr and Valenwood options to save on memory there too


Installation
1) download & install MenuQue + any style of Dynamic Map, check the zoom keys 1,2,3 work ingame, exit and continue
2) download the main file here + name corrections
3) extract both and copy the name corrections to the main folder overwriting when prompted
4) install it with Wyre Bash or manually
4a) with Wyre Bash select the 00 folder + 01 or 02 or 03 folders
4b) for manual install, copy the contents of the 00 folder + 01 or 02 or 03 folders to the Data folder overwriting when prompted

Tamriel heightmaps
A playable modders resource adding detail terrain to most of the other Tamriel regions but lacking gameplay element (or buildings, other than on Summerset Isles). Hasnt had as much content made for it as expected, with focus turned to ESV when it did, but still has enough to checkout. The basic install has alotof files but aside from some of the LODs are all esp's and bsa's

Tamriel worldspace mods
Havent tried many of these but thought itd be interesting to do a list of compatible or semi compatible mods for the heightmaps. Ones like Valenwood Improved and Hammerfell are less compatible but most of the others not designed with the heightmaps (usually just outside the Cyrodiil boarders) should only have minor issues with floating/sunken objects or land tears which the right load order and a bit of Land Magic should fix. Btw alotof large worldspace mods have mods made for them aswell, ive only listed a few patch type addons, so worth searching for extra content for the larger ones; & for seperate worldspace mods too

Akaviri Kojima Extended - compatible with Deserts of Anequina & Valenwood Improved
Ayleid Water Tower - technically in Cyrodiil but in Topal Bay
Black Marsh mod BETA - would be incompatible with TWMP_BlackMarsh.esp
Beyond Cyrodiil - Camps and Valenwood compatibility patch - think it means TWMP_Valenwood_Elsweyr.esp
Castle Wolfspike V2 and minor patch for Black Marsh mod BETA.
Chapel Shop - border region, load after TWMP_BlackMarsh.esp, & could be compatible with Black Marsh mod BETA also
Colourwheels Sexy Ayleid Shrine HGEC - border region, similar to Chapel Shop
Colourwheels Sexy Skyrim Outpost HGEC - border region or converted to the DMRA BBB body type

Not located in Cyrodiil or wider Tamriel worldspace, some are based on Tamriel locations but are self contained worlds accessed thru portals, so arent shown on the ingame map and have limited ways to travel between, but with mark and recall mods like Teleport to Everywhere not somuch trouble

System tweaks/prelaunch
4GB Patch - set Oblivion.exe to be large adress aware - see here for more details
Oblivion RAM Booster - never indicated if its really any different to the 4GB patch but others suggest its not and see this comment
Prio - Process Priority Saver - requires a system restart, then launch the game, get to the main menu, alt+tab (or other method) out of the game to launch Task Manager (needs the Oblivion.exe launched to change it) and change the priority to High, make sure the 'Save Priority' is tick, should be by default
FPS Background Booster - while i use this, cant really detect if its making a difference
Game Booster - now called Razer Game Booster; if you dont like how Razer does it (see complaint threads in the forums for an idea), can get the last beta update before it changed hands here or look for
v3.5.0.1526 (July3 2012) or get 3.4 instead
GameCompanion - Alt Tab Fix - the fake fullscreen mod, at least the one to use with Oblivion
Increase virtual memory - setting Innitial size to 1.5x & Max to 3x installed ram: Right click Computer / Properties / Advanced System Settings / Advanced tab / "Performance" Settings button / Advanced tab / "Virtual memory" Change button / untick "Automatically manage etc.." / tick "Custom size" / set Innitial size (MB) to the "Recommended" figure below & Maximum size (MB) to double that / press Set button / then OK / Agree to restart computer. or see here
MSI Afterburner (or another overclocking tool) with unofficial overclocking set, even works on laptops

Example Batch file for launching the game: To make one of these just type 'run' in the windows box or Windows+R, and then 'notepad'. To save, change the file type to 'all files' and rename the extension .batch

(The one for xpadder here's just a keyboard emulator. And if you launch the game with OBSE_loader.exe might wanto launch overclocking programs before the batch command cause it may have issues starting an overclock profile as the games loading)
