About this mod

This mod seeks to make Nights & Storms alot more dangerous to the player. This is just an alpha at best and is mainly to have others be able to help bugtest. The rain blur feature is a bit wonky at times so it is in its own .esp. From 0.05 to 0.06 Wolves now have new texture, and land dreugh texture slightly changed. Torch script made better

Permissions and credits
This mod works to make Nights and Storms alot more dangerous. This is done by adding more spawns to the night of darker creatures, (goes perfectly with darker nights). These creatures appear only in storms or at night, and will attack you until you reach the safety of an interior. (No way to differentiate between caves and houses that I know of, so you will have to deal). In addition if you pull out a torch the creatures will stay back but follow you still. During the rain your fatigue regen is lessoned, and you cannot move as fast so be careful. Also if you are not wearing a helmet/hood, your vision will be blurred by rain.

Requires OBSE obviously - http://obse.silverlock.org. This version is made to allow not just torches, but all light sources to effect the behaviour of the monsters. This is currently a test version

There are currently 2 seperate .esp's. One is for the added spawns and one is for the stat changes and blurring during rain. Also there is a ring that allows you to change options, such as allowing/disallowing fast travel during night and during storms.

From 0.06 to 0.07

Blur applies only when you dont have a hood/helmet. Rain now is a disease, and also weakens you to cold. Torch script revised slightly. (the range they stayed back was upped, due to the prevalence of brighter torch mods)

From 0.05 to 0.06

Wolves now have new texture, and land dreugh texture slightly changed. Torch script made better and enemies no longer should spawn in cities. (with the open cities mod they can follow you in though)

From 0.04 to 0.05

Percentages for all spawns cut 66% to prevent people being overwhelmed. Also spawn maxes added so you dont get lagged out by spawns.


Plans for the future
Vampire count with a low chance to spawn (this guy will be extremely powerful so watch it)
Cut-throats in towns at night that will attempt to steal gold from you! (possibly even a guild to join em?)
Leveled spawn list incorporating OOO and MMM monsters, as well as rebalances to current list
If you are near guards the monsters wont attack, (at least unless there are many of them)
